Events:

   My name is Amber Boshart and I am the Events Ministry Leader at Journey llt. I have two kids that are 5 and 3. I am very blessed to be able to stay home with my kids and be involved in their school activities. I enjoy photography, Zumba, and going to bed early. I grew up in Albany and love the small town and love that our whole family is local.

   The events ministry at Journey is focused on events for both men and women. Most of the activities include the kids but not always! We did several events throughout the year such as The Valentines Progressive Dinner, Family Fun Run, Volleyball Tournament and Tailgater, and Christmas Caroling throughout the Timber Ridge neighborhood. We also participate in local events such as Altrusa KidzShop, clean-up day at our church, and other needs throughout our community. The Events Ministry sells Journey souvenirs to add to our fund to pay for many of our activities. We sell t-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, and Journey stickers to help raise money. This way most of the Journey events, such as the Progressive Dinner and the Volleyball Tournament, are free!

   The Events Ministry is always looking for enthusiastic people to help with the activities. You can help with one or all! Please contact me if you have questions or feel a calling to serve in this ministry.
